Governance

Compliance & Transparency

We believe transparency is the foundation of trust. Here’s how we operate.

Regulatory Status

Northern Gold Supply Ltd is registered in England and Wales (Company No: 16979681). The company operates as a precious metals brokerage facilitating the sourcing and execution of physical gold transactions for private clients.

The sale of physical gold bullion is not a regulated financial activity under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. Northern Gold Supply does not provide financial advice, investment advice, or portfolio management services. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Operational Model

All transactions are conducted on a pre-funded, client-led basis. Each order is sourced individually through established UK wholesalers and LBMA-accredited suppliers. Northern Gold Supply does not engage in pooled accounts, omnibus structures, or leveraged positions.

Ownership of purchased metals transfers to the client at the point of delivery. Northern Gold Supply does not hold, store, or custody client assets at any stage. Where requested, we can introduce clients to recognised third-party allocated vault storage providers; any such storage arrangement is held directly between the client and the provider, on the provider’s own terms.

Anti-Money Laundering & KYC

Northern Gold Supply operates in full compliance with the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 (as amended). All clients are subject to identity verification and, where applicable, source of funds checks.

We maintain a risk-based approach to customer due diligence and reserve the right to decline transactions that do not meet our compliance standards. Our full AML & KYC policy is available upon request.

Risk Appetite

Northern Gold Supply maintains a conservative risk appetite. We do not engage in speculative trading, do not offer leverage or credit facilities, and do not hold speculative positions in precious metals. All transactions are executed on behalf of and at the instruction of the client.

Data Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Client data is used solely for the purposes of transaction execution, regulatory compliance, and customer communication. We do not sell or share client data with third parties for marketing purposes. Our full Privacy Policy is available here.

Northern Gold Supply maintains a formal complaints handling procedure. If you wish to raise a complaint, please contact us at enquiries@northerngoldsupply.com or in writing to the registered address. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 3 business days and provide a final response within 8 weeks. Our full Complaints Handling Policy is available here.
